MN Original Announces First Ever Art-A-Whirl Mashup Quiz

Happy 1st Birthday, MN Original! In honor of Art-A-Whirl and MN Original being on the air for a solid year, they've created a quiz that rewards both their viewers and fans of the whirl. It comes complete with prizes! A $25 gift card to the Black Dog Coffee and Wine bar to be exact.

• Visit www.mnoriginal.org Friday through Sunday at noon to get each day’s clues. A different set of clues about different artists will be posted each day.
• The deadline to email your answers is 10pm each day.
• There is only one winner per day. The first person to email the MOST correct answers wins.
• These artists have been featured on MN Original and are members of the Northeast Minneapolis Art Association.
• Send an email with your answers to MNOriginal@tpt.org. Please put “mashup quiz” in the subject line.
• If you are a winner, they’ll contact you for your full name and mailing address.

Laura, Cody, and Eddie make an "art" film

We can't wait for Art-A-Whirl, happening May 20th-22nd in Northeast. Today this cool promo video was posted for CURIO: A Michael Thomsen Retrospective at the Rogue Buddha Gallery. We heart Michael Thomsen! The clip is a teaser for a longer film shot by Thomsen and edited by Jason Schumacher, which will be on view at the Buddha during Art-A-Whirl. Can't wait!
