Frances Bean Cobain Was Concieved in Minneapolis?

Today, in awesome rock 'n' roll news, Courtney Love reveals her daughter Frances Bean Cobain was conceived in a downtown Minneapolis hotel in 1991. In a recent NY Mag interview about "Smells Like Teen Spirit Video", Love says:

“The next time I saw the video [for “Smells Like Teen Spirit”] with [Kurt Cobain] was at the Omni Northstar Hotel in Minneapolis. I’d flown there to fuck Billy Corgan, who still had lots of hair. I didn’t even know Nirvana were playing that night. Kurt and I wound up at the Northstar, and our daughter, Frances, was basically made that night."

Missonimania Hits Minneapolis

Missoni for Target madness hit Minneapolis, aka Targetville this morning. It hit it hard. Some of you got lucky, most of you didn't. Here's the Twitter recap.

And here's the photo of Little Marina, taken by Emma Berg at Downtown Target early this morning. We have no clue why they call her Little, she's 25 feet tall.

Minneapolis Bridesmaid Bar Crawl Is Coming

Downtown residents, beware: the first ever Bridesmaid Bar Crawl is happening! According to the official press release , the crawl kicks off at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 17 at Seven Ultralounge and continues at Bar 508, Drink, The Local and several other downtown Minneapolis bars. With each $20 ticket purchase, guests will receive one wristband and one raffle ticket. Best part? All the particpants get to wear their bridesmaid dresses. We can't wait...or can we?
