Dearling Physique releases 'Up All Night' [VIDEO]

Once again, Dearling Physique has bestowed upon us a magnificent music video! We didn't think they could top the "Discipline Your Hands" vid, but they've done it again with "Up All Night", directed by James Lotter, from the new album Tracing the Alphabet. Dearling Physique casting for new music video!

Local electronic group Dearling Physique is now casting their next music video for the new album Deadeye Dealer. The video for the song "Hooks for Safety" is a sequel to the much heralded, high concept "Discipline Your Hands" video, which was released with the album in January. With the release, Dearling Physique gained national attention, scoring "Artist of the Week" honors on MTV's blog as well as accolades on a number of local and national blogs and music websites.

The group is seeking three men and one woman for supporting roles in the upcoming "Hooks for Safety" video. Check out the full casting call on Facebook HERE to find out more on how to apply. Submission deadline is February 27th.

Dearling Physique up for "Artist of the Week" on MTV Iggy

Uber talented locals, Dearling Physique, are in the running to win the MTV Iggy Blog's "Artist of the Week!" They are currently are in the lead (narrowly) and could use some local love!

The gorgeous new music video for Dearling Physique's "Discipline Your Hands" has been leaked! Set to debut tonight at the Uptown Apple Store, the video was sent out by the group's PR peeps, eventually finding its way on to the general interwebs.

Frontman Domino Davis just posted a note on Dearling Physique's Facebook page saying "The cat is out of the bag!" with a link to the Ansel Wallenfang-directed vid. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't hop down to the Apple Store tonight at 7pm to see it on the big screen, meet Dom and his crew, and see some of the seriously brilliant costuming by Kevin Kramp.

Dearling Physique gets props on MTV's IGGY blog

With the official release of their first full-length album, Deadeye Dealer, enigmatic local act Dearling Physique is causing quite a stir. Factoring in a highly anticipated album release show tonight at the Entry, a music video premiere on Friday at the Uptown Apple store, and a gracious, gushing nod from MTV's IGGY blog, we thinks the mesmerizing electronic act is headed for a major break out.

Live music at the Apple store!

Whether you're an iphone/ipod/ipad/mac addict or not, you really need to check out the new Apple Store in Uptown. Not only is the space absolutely gorgeous with a pretty cool "secret" rooftop, but they also have in-store events that promote local talent - and we think that's pretty kewl. Mayda, No Bird Sing, and Mystery Place are among the bands that have already performed as part of the weekly "Live at the Apple Store" series. Social media-savvy performance artists/musicians Dearling Physique are the next band to join the roster: their performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. this Saturday.

And don't forget your iphone - we want to see some non-ironic and/or ironic twitpix!
