The Current previews new Dessa music video

Thanks to Secrets of the City for pointing out the exclusive video preview 89.3 The Current has posted of Dessa's new music video. The song, "Poor Atlas," is off her upcoming album Badly Broken Code, due out Tuesday, January 19. Additionally, there will be a CD release party at the Fine Line Music Cafe on Friday, Jan 22nd at 9pm.



In other Dessa video news, she has another video in the works for the single "Dixon's Girl." It was put together by local film world luminaries Todd Cobery (director) and Bo Hakala (cinematography) in mid-December. We are definitely Hakala fans around her - the video he directed for Lookbook's "Over And Over" was named Best Music Video in l'etoile magazine's Best of 2009 post.
