Alan Arkin will apparently be in Minnesota (Hopkins specifically) within the next few weeks to start production on the dark comedy,
The Convincer.

Sisters Jill and Karen Sprecher wrote the screenplay for
The Convincer and Jill will direct the film. Their previous films include
Clockwatchers and
Thirteen Conversations About One Thing. The film is being produced by
Werc Werk Works and is scheduled to begin shooting in Downtown Hopkins within the next few weeks.
The Convincer follows a desperate salesman in the Midwest whose scheme to get a hold of a rare violin leads to unforeseen consequences.
