It's under massive construction! Liz Bastian stopped by the theater today and snapped this photo. It looks depressing, sure, but they are putting brand new luxury seating! Can you say upgrade?

Embarrassing!

So apparently a graffiti tagger got himself trapped on top of the Uptown Theater sign last night and firefighters had to close off Hennepin Ave for half and hour to get him down. (via Bring me the News)

Street cred straight down the tubes!
