Weekend Twitterings: Halloween Edition

Welcome to Halloween edition of Weekend Twitterings ! We have the best and the worst tweets about Halloween candy, silly costumes and lost wigs. We hope you enjoy!

Excellent costume idea. Here's John in his hipster glory!

They must be very popular in their neighborhood.

Too Much Love+ Halloween = Too Much Blood.

@theBitchelor's costume was awesome.

We don't know if @kaeti made it out alive.

That's an interesting statistic.

Knitter's Halloween Party? Fun!

Nothing is too silly on Halloween!

The day after...

This is a great visual.

Kids, there are rules about this stuff!

That's the way to do it. (He was wearing a Kenny Powers costume, btw.)

Scott Seekins look-a-likes were all over the place!

Jack-o'-lanterns do look much better in complete darkness.

GAYNGS play Josh Lucas' party in NYC

This is pretty cool!

Rumors swirled Thursday that hometown supergroup, GAYNGS, flew out to NYC to play a special set at a party for actor Josh Lucas. A tipster sent us an e-mail, and after phone calls to close GAYNGS affiliates and a couple of the band's members, we learned that the actor (who incidentally was interviewed on the same episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon that the band was featured as musical guest) had indeed invited GAYNGS to play.

Deets are still relatively scant, but we've gathered a couple twitpix from party-goer and local journo Steve Marsh as well as from Har Mar Superstar (who also apparently was invited to play the party - though we're unclear whether he was playing solo or sitting in with GAYNGS).

What's next for the rapidly rising super group? We can't wait to find out!

@stephenhero snaps a twitpic of Gayng-leader Ryan Olson posing with a "smurf" backstage.

@harmarsuperstar tweets "THIS is happening right now!" and includes a pic of Gayng-members getting ready to rock.

We'll post more pics and tweets when they surface - which we expect they will!

Haunted Basement Tickets are Hott

Who could have anticipated that the hottest ticket in town would be the one for Soap Factory's Haunted Basement. Why? Because the show is sold out and if you haven't purchased your ticket on time, you may have to cash out big bucks if you still want to go. Soap Factory peeps have posted a update on their Facebook page today saying: "The amount of money big scalpers are trying to get for Haunted Basement tickets is truly outrageous..."

How outrageous? Taylor, from Secrets of the City, checked ebay and they are going for $200 (for 2). Crazy!
