Join us this Thursday for our last LOL/OMG Social Media Meetup and Rock Show at the 501 Club! Beginning in March, the Meetup will be held at the 501's Northeast sister venue, the 331 Club - so stay tuned. FYI: we've got a way amazing lineup planned for the inaugural event!

Thanks to the talented (and super pretty) Ms. Amy Gee for snapping some hot shots at the LOL/OMG Social Media Meetup and Rock Show at the 501 Club last night! We had a total blast! WaxxMaxx featuring Nicole Brenny, Alyssa Brenny and Mark Mallman kicked things off, followed by the always rockin' Ed and Ashley Ackerson of BNLX and the pure amazingness of Phantom Tails. ALL these bands blew our minds with their awesomeness, so be sure to check them out sometime if you were too lame to make the party.

LOL/OMG Music Exclusive & Special Announcement: WAXX MAXX

We're pleased to be the first to debut the next big thing in local music: WAXX MAXX! Comprised of Twin Cities legend Mark Mallman (guitar/synth) and newcomers/sisters Nicole Godiva (vocals) and Alyssa Brenny (drums), WAXX MAXX is pure synthpop pleasure with a French twist! Danceable, mesmerizing and sexy as hell, this threesome is one we definitely want in on -- musically speaking, of course (wink wink). The trio will be releasing an EP this November on the Kindercore label, currently home to Mallman's other project, Ruby Isle, as well as notable bands such as Of Montreal, I am the World Trade Center, Maserati and more. Look for monthly track releases via the band's website leading up to the EP release. We've got the first track "Celine and Julie Go Boating" HERE for your free downloading pleasure. Enjoy!
