Broken Crow mural in progress in South Mpls

@iteeth snapped this detail shot of a new Broken Crow mural in progress behind the building that houses XYandZ Gallery, Trylon Micro Cinema, and the Peace Coffee Shop in South Minneapolis (33rd & Minnehaha). Stop over to peep their progress!

We went over and peeped it for ourselves. It's going to be wicked. (and there will apparently be lots of blood)

Eyeteeth does a nice post on the new mural behind the Modern Cafe/331 Club on 13th Avenue, with the below time-lapse video and the background of the process. The mural was created by local artists Broken Crow (Mike FitzSimmons and John Grider) and visiting street artist Over Under (Erik Burke) from NYC.

Broken Crow makes it look so easy...

Peeps are madly tweeting and re-tweeting this newly uploaded photography time-lapse video of stencil artists John Grider and Michael Fitzsimmons of Broken Crow doing their thing this past August. Pretty sweet!

Artist Benjamin Clasen of Midnight Toil shot the photos and pieced them together to make this cool time-lapse, complete with beats from Doomtree's Paper Tiger.
