Lynx Are The Champions

The Minnesota Lynx won the franchise's first WNBA title and made a lot of local sport fans very, very happy. Coincidentally, hours before the big win Grantland.com named Minneapolis the saddest sports city in America. Ha! Here's the Twitter recap:

If you want to give our girls the high fives they deserve, you can do that on Tuesday. A parade along Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis will be held at 11:30 a.m. A rally at Target Center is to follow at 12:15pm.
