LOL OMG parties with Pete Campbell at Jager!

LOL OMG! We totes partied with Pete Campbell from Mad Men last night!

We were at our usual Tuesday night hangout, JagerCon at Clubhouse Jager, when our trusty eyes spied a dapper man in a Burberry trench coat who looked really familiar. It was none other than Vincent Kartheiser, who happens to be a native Minnesotan (he grew up in Apple Valley). It was only fitting that the guy who played Connor on Angel would show up unannounced at our weekly nerd night!

After waiting for him to finish a game of darts with some old high school pals, we made our move and chatted with the guy, who was already getting noticed by other bargoers (including blogger JustJudyJudyJudy. To our surprise, he was quite amicable and tons of fun and even took a ton of pix with us (including the below shot with our best Christina Hendricks sexy camera faces)!

Vincent joked about taking his pants off and dancing on the bar. Unfortunately, he didn't.

Then we asked him to do an old-timey dance and he did.

Of course, we had to break the news via Twitter:

Beth + Brian

Patrons of Clubhouse Jager were in for a big surprise tonight when l'etoile ad sales guru Brian Gioielli proposed to his girlfriend, l'etoile founder Beth Hammarlund, during l'etoile's long-running sci-fi night, JagerCon! Gioielli got on the mic and surprised Beth with a custom designed ring by local jewelry maven Karin Jacobsen. Beth said YES! We are so amazingly happy for B&B, who are two of the most kind-hearted, cool people we know. Congrats!

And yes, the l'etoile crew is already planning their wedding, of course!

NYE 2010

New Year's Eve Transmission night at Club Jager? I don't know about you, but that sounds irresistible to me and according to my Facebook feed, I'm not the only one.

DJ Jake Rudh sent out a Facebook invitation today "giving the TRANSMISSION group members and night regulars the heads before any word goes to press this year". Consider yourself fortunate if you received this invite; last year's event sold out pretty quickly. 40 people have already responded, so If I were you, I wouldn't wait forever to get my ticket.

Here's the scoop: "Tickets can only be bought from the club (starting Wednesday, December 9th), and will be sold until they run out. They are $5 in advance or $10 the night of. Max of 5 tickets sold per person."

Are you on your way to Jager yet? For realz...

What are YOU doing on NYE?
