St. Paul came in at Number 24:
For the most part, Saint Paul takes after its namesake: an old, conservative white dude who doesn't care much for earthly fashions. Consider the haircut on one of its most famous denizens, F. Scott Fitzgerald. It's the kind of place where a Super Kmart doesn't seem like a superfluous eyesore, it's a gosh darn convenient place to purchase appliances, groceries, and yes—clothes—in one big time-saving trip. Meaning there's more hours in the day to watch Matlock or mow the lawn in a giveaway tee and Zubaz. Fortunately, for the few fashion-minded citizens of St. Paul, the much younger, hipper, boutique-strewn Minneapolis is just a bridge away

Visit Saint Paul Launches Code Green
Visit Saint Paul will kick off their official summer travel promotion called “Saint Paul: Code Green”, today June 16 at 10 a.m. at the Science Museum of Minnesota. According the the press release, the promotion will encourage visitors and residents to explore the city this summer by offering an eco-focused, high-tech promotion based on using QR Scan Codes. Various green prizes will be given away, with the grand prize being a brand new 2011 Chevrolet Volt.
Here's how Code Green works:
The Code Green website will feature a map with participating locations. Users can go to each of the sites (once per day) and scan the QR code with their smartphone. Upon scanning, they will be presented with a micro-website that will give the user a branded experience based on the location they are at, including eco-friendly facts and initiatives that relate to that location, as well as tips for enjoying that specific destination. The user is also presented with a chance to win the various “green” prizes that are being given away.
Code Green runs from Saturday, June 18 through October 1.

St. Paul's monster snow pile meets its doom
The massive snow pile that took over a huge chunk of the Sears parking lot in St. Paul has finally met its end, thanks to 102 degree temps in the Twin Cities. Apparently today's heat left only a small remnant of the formerly glorious snow mountain, which clearly took a heck of a long time to melt. Can we officially say its summer now? Yes. Yes we can.

Murray in the House
The St. Paul Saints have revealed on their Twitter account this morning that their owner, famous actor Bill Murray is scoping out Lowertown as site for a Caddyshack Restaurant! Murray and his five brothers opened the first Caddyshack restaurant in 2001 in St. Augustine, Fla., and designed it to look and feel like a country club gone awry. Murray is apparently interested in opening two more restaurants, in St. Paul and Atlanta, under the motto "Eat, Drink and be Murray"! We CAN'T wait.
