Conan visits Minneapolis

Conan O'Brien, who once had a show and now has a Twitter account, is in town and has been spotted mingling with locals and checking out local restaurants . Conan, who brings "The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour" to the Orpheum tonight, showed up a day early to stop by Al Franken's fundraiser. @DustryTrice, who had the pleasure of meeting Conan at the fundraiser, reports: "He said he's never been political but has known Al forever. And it was the only day off from the tour so he was free." Dusty was not the only one who got to chat with the famous comedian: Judy Grundstrom and Steve Marsh got their chance too:

@DustyTrice: FYI: @ConanOBrien is much taller than me. And he smells of lilacs and daydreams."

Also, Dusty realized this, a bit too late I guess: "Spent most of my evening with @ConanOBrien with an huge rip in the crotch of my Dockers. Or as I like to call it 'Family Entertainment'."

@stephenhero: "Conan confirmed that his guests tomorrow night will include Prince, Kirby Puckett, and Presidents Obama & Clinton on sax."

@justjudyblog: "Yeah, I'm with CoCo - like really "

And what are Conan's thoughts on Minneapolis?

  1. Oh, so Bob Levine hosted the party at his Bellagio-pooled mansion?! I wonder if he dusted? Want to see how not to spend money, just visit.
