Atmosphere, Vicious Vicious to drop new albums

Social media channels are lighting up with hot local music news today. First of note: Atmosphere is dropping a new album, which Slug talks about in a new interview in Pitchfork. Local musicians Jeremy Messersmith and Brother Ali chime in on Facebook:



In even more local music news, Erik Appelwick of Tapes 'N Tapes is resurrecting his Vicious Vicious project with a new Facebook page and forthcoming album, Crooked Lines. According to his Facebook page, the largely solo album was recorded over the past three years with a little help from Jeremy Hanson of TNT, Adrian Suarez, and Heath Henjum.
